In mid-August 2023, the harbor looked as shown here. It has been difficult to drive down the steel bulkheads in straight lines and material has repeatedly come loose and collapsed into the sea. Part of the steel bulkhead had to be removed to straighten the edges, but now the work is moving into the harbor so that it will be possible to string crosspieces between the bulkheads and keep the material under control.
